Sterling Glen of Stamford, an independent and assisted living senior residence, will host a variety of musical performances this January for all to enjoy. These concerts are open to the public, free of charge.

* Sat., Jan 12 – Guitarist and Vocalist Irwin Finger will perform a concert entitled “Pop Music From Gershwin to the Beatles.” Finger plays a variety of musical styles including folk, rock, country, reggae and Motown, accompanied by his guitar, harmonica, and an electric drum machine. The concert will feature favorites by legendary artists like John Denver, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Hank Williams, Cole Porter, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. Finger will begin his show at 2 p.m.

* Sun., Jan. 13 – The Schubert Club, a vocal performance group from Stamford will be performing a concert featuring music by “All Composers That Start With S.” The performance will begin at 2:30 p.m.
