Located in the Springdale section of Stamford for over 30 years, Amore Restaurant is a popular destination for diners seeking authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Classy decor and a welcoming, social atmosphere combine to create the perfect setting for all occasions.
Patrons can choose from traditional menu staples of pasta, meat, seafood and gourmet pizza, or opt for a more exotic specialty dish featuring delicacies of wild boar, ostrich and venison. Additional distinctive offerings of the house include orata, bronzino and Dover sole as well as homemade pasta alla chitarra and tagliatelle. An extensive wine list and freshly made desserts compliment every dining experience.
Family owned and operated by the Carozza Family, former owners of Stamford-based Il Mulino and La Fontanella restaurants, Amore is happy to offer accommodations for groups, large parties and special events, including corporative dining for up to 80 people. There is ample parking on the premises, and all menu offerings are available for take-out. Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves lunch and dinner Monday through Friday and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are accepted.

delicious! Great family owned restaurant, food is unbelievably good and they accommodate large groups. I would suggest making a reservation on the weekend, it gets pretty packed. We have been going there the past few years for Valentines day, and we will keep continuing the tradition!
