The year was 1981. Jim Disbrow and Scott Lowery had recently transplanted to Kent, Ohio after living in Buffalo, New York. All was fine until one day when the two were craving wings. Not just ordinary wings, but authentic Buffalo, New York-style chicken wings. Only problem was there was nowhere to get wings nearby. So Jim and Scott had two choices to satisfy their appetite: they could either make a road trip to New York or open a wing joint close to home. Lucky for us they chose the latter. Hence, the beginning of Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, now Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, the no-holds-barred grill and bar that serves up a healthy dose of fun with every batch of Buffalo chicken wings.

The waitress I had the one time I went was pretty dumb and kept forgetting to bring out things we ordered. But the food was great, and for a great price.

Overall a great time. BWW Stamford has their stuff together!! I wasn’t sure what to expect and was blown away from the service I got. I will be back there soon!! No doubt!

what a huge disappointment. Heard about this place so had to give it a try. Service was the pits, had to ask for a wait staff, had to ask for my order to be taken, had to ask for the check. Food was engineered, or as my son said- taste like rubber. crispy chips were nothing more than round french fries, if I wanted french fries, I would have ordered french fries. They should have taken the money they invested in all there TV’s and spent it on some food service management classes!

Terrific atmosphere, diverse crowd (which I enjoy!) Great place to go if you want to watch any thing sports from any table or seat in the place. But as far as good buffalo wings go…I expect better; the food quality and flavor is really just a notch — a small notch — above fast food. I can get better wings from pizza hut, and that’s not an endorsement. The only thing that sets the wings apart are the different flavor sauces.
