In downtown Stamford, CT there’s a hip joint called Lucky’s. It’s a place where you can get the best burger in CT and the thickest shake you can handle. Step inside and you are immediately transported to a time and place where a nickel gets you a song on the juke box and our soda jerk can whip up your favorite ice cream delights.
We created Lucky’s to simply offer a unique retro experience along with the freshest and tastiest food around. It’s important that there’s something for everyone at Lucky’s. Not only do we have every burger under the sun, but we also have a bunch of healthy salads and entrees that are sure to satisfy.

Love the place. If you want a good chili burger, you have to try the Big D’s!!! It is delicious and the staff is so friendly and attentive. My new favorite burger joint.

If youre looking for a simple, classic Americana “burger & shake” joint, this is it! Lucky’s is very reminiscent of Johnny Rockets or Sonics. I enjoyed the 1950′s theme decor and soda jerk hats that the servers wear. The on-duty manager also rolls-up his sleeves, and makes the rounds with customers as well as working out any kinks in customer satisfaction and food quality; though I think many of the servers need to understand the era they’re representing while in uniform and do a better job of conveying that nostalgia in their service becasue that is the basis on which I tip. It is a great 50′a style classic American burger and malt shop. Absolutely love the atmosphere it is such a cute restaurant and I love the name and the good and the cost, absolutely would love to be able to go back there. Absolutely love this place super super cute and great burger and malt shop.

My fiancé and I have been going to Lucky’s since we first arrived in Stamford about three years ago, it was our go to place with all our visiting guests. Recently, we have noticed the quality of the food has significantly decreased, becoming more and more greasier and constantly inconsistent.
Our last visit to the restaurant was about a week ago. It was hands down the worst restaurant experience we have yet encountered. We sat at the table for twenty minutes with waiters and waitresses walking by and seeing we still had our menu, no one acknowledging us. Finally we called the waitress over and she was extremely rude, explaining to us that it wasn’t her section but she “guessed” she could help us. She messed up our simple house salad order and when we notified her, that it was incorrect, she did not apologize, when she came with the right order she dropped it on the table and walked away. We asked to speak to a manger immediately. After five minutes, he came over and stood there. He didn’t introduce himself and he was extremely unknowledgeable. He said our food was done and we would get it “free” not complimentary for our inconvenience but free, as if that’s what we wanted. We then told him we would pay for the salad and drinks and wanted to leave.
I was very disappointed with the service; there is too much competition for a place like this to stay in business.
